Ling Long Incarnation also known as Ling Cage, is a fully CGI Chinese post-apocalyptic animated series produced by YHKT Entertainment. The show portrays the harsh reality of life in the Lighthouse, a flying city that serves as a sanctuary for the surviving remnants of humanity after a catastrophic event unleashed monstrous creatures on an already overpopulated world.

The population is divided based on their desirable or undesirable genetics in order to ensure the survival of their refuge and strict measures are taken to prevent contamination and emotional attachments that could compromise their future. Elite hunter teams venture out into the monster-ridden wilderness on dangerous expeditions to retrieve valuable resources.

A picture is said to be worth a thousand words, but in this case, it contains an endless amount of secrets only Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang can uncover. At the Time Photo Studio, they offer a unique service: using their exceptional abilities to enter photos, they travel into pictures brought to them by clients to fulfill their desires. Through the photographer’s perspective, they experience the events of the picture and try to solve their client’s request.

However, every entry into a photo carries a significant risk. A single mistake could change the future of the person who took the photo and have far-reaching consequences. When the events in the photos become personal, the two must put aside their emotions and concentrate on fulfilling their mission.
