Seven year old Shi Jiang, a hype beast videogamer and a sufferer of a disease that makes him age three times as quickly as a normal human, as well as granting him three times the intellectual capabilities, finds himself escaping from demons in his elementary school and is then isekai’d into a fantasy world. In this world, Shi Jiang has set out to find Gongsunmu, the fairy god who sent him into this world.

He soon discovers he is the reincarnation of the fairy god Lord Guangling, a character from the game he keeps mentioning throughout his journey. Shi Jiang then takes a test with three other people in Feiyung village, only to be betrayed on the way. Despite being belittled, he manages to place first, and his betrayer returns to Feiyung village to teach the villagers the hot air balloon and pickaxe climbing method from Shi Jiang’s world. After joining the poorest sect of the four great sects, Shi Jiang embarks on a journey to the fairy city.
