In a distant galaxy, on a rogue wild star, two transcendent beings engage in a battle of good and evil. The corrupted King of Abyss/Hell is sealed on the wild star, but with time the seal will weaken, so the sentient being scatters shards of his power into black crystals across the galaxy, hoping that his descendants will carry on the fight against corruption. One of these shards lands on Earth, leading humanity to study its origins and capabilities.

“Knights on Debris” follows the story of Chen Mo, a Chinese scientist who becomes the vessel for the dormant powers of the sentient being. He joins a scout team to explore the wild star, but when the wormhole they take delays their arrival by 150 years, they find that humanity has already established the new federation on the wild star. Unfortunately, the land is now overrun by the abyss, and Chen Mo is the only human survivor along with his robot companions.

Their situation becomes even more complicated when Thorne, a superhuman race, is sent to the wild star to rescue a runaway princess. With different objectives and goals, the interactions between Chen Mo, his robot companions, and Thorne may lead to peaceful cooperation or result in the destruction of all life on the wild star by the abyss.
