Mo Fan's journey to become the strongest mage is complicated by the return of the Black Order and their decision to take action against him during his assessment for advancement to the main campus. In preparation, Mo Fan trains with the Three Step Pagoda.

However, Mo Fan's challenges don't stop there. As an exchange student at another university, he must participate in a team fight and a practical test in a city filled with monsters, as part of the exchange program curriculum. Additionally, Mo Fan is put in a predicament by deserters from the defense force, adding to the obstacles he must overcome to achieve his dream.
