After the Black Order crisis, the remaining residents of Bo City abandon the area. Mo Fan and his family take up the offer of refuge in Mingzhu City, the capital of magic, with nearby cities providing shelter to the displaced. Soon after settling in, Mo Fan's teacher, Tang Yue, asks for his help with an investigation into the Black Order, but Mo Fan agrees only if he can have a dark element awakened within him. As Mo Fan becomes familiar with his newfound powers, he sets out to enroll at Mingzhu University, a dream destination for all magicians. Through his interactions with the elements, Mo Fan realizes that his potential is limitless and that this is only the start of his discoveries.
