Tang San and Xiao Wu are in the realm of the Gods for the last 20 years. The problem is one day in the God's realm equals one year in the mortal realm. A lot of time as passed and alot of changes happened in Soul Land. New countries has emerged and Tang Sect is in decline.

Our new hero is Huo Yuhao, was born as the son of the Duke of the White Tiger Clan and his personal maid. Following the Duke's departure to the on-going war, the Duchess took over the reins of the manor and, being jealous and seeing Huo Yuhao as a threat to her children, secluded him and his mother in a shack making up stories that she contracted an infectious disease. This plus the malnourishment caused Huo Yuhao's mother, who already had a weak constitution, to fall sick and die.

Huo Yuhao decides to leave the manor, and go to the Star Dou Forest to grab his first soul ring. It's there when he meets the actual leader of Tang Sect. After a few adventures he is invited as a new member of the Tang Sect.

After they return to civilization, Huo Yuhao joins Shrek Academy using a fixed cota from Tang Sect. Huo Yuhao and his new friends start the path to revitalize Tang Sect.
