Wei He, the youngest among three siblings, leads a sheltered and somewhat naive life. Their family relies on the reputation of his eldest sister, a formidable martial artist known in the slums. Despite their parents' mysterious disappearance, his eldest sister remains steadfast in her belief that they are still alive, often embarking on quests to uncover any traces of their whereabouts. Sensing an ominous foreboding before one such journey, Wei He decides to accompany his sister.

During their expedition, they confront a monstrous adversary. In the ensuing battle, his elder sister and the creature plummet from a cliff, leaving Wei He and his second eldest sister vulnerable to the dangers of the slums. Confronted with the harsh realities of their situation, Wei He resolves to strengthen himself by enrolling in a martial arts school. His goal: to protect his family and persist in the quest to find their missing parents.
