This season continues from where the previous one ended without missing a step. The impressive visuals complement a well-crafted plot, making for an enjoyable viewing experience. The characters are well-established, though some development may be slow for those other than Bai Xiaochun. However, the change of setting and the introduction of new characters at the beginning of this season freshens up the supporting cast. Eventually, the series circles back to the Spirit Stream Sect, with characters ranging from humorous to serious.

Bai Xiaochun, the main character, is a little overpowered but that is to be expected in the show. He is a light-hearted and humorous person who will stop at nothing to achieve immortality and protect his friends.

The visuals are a matter of personal preference, but in this case, they are eye-catching. The fighting scenes are well-detailed, the characters look great, and the landscapes are so stunning they make you wish you were there instead of the cold wintery North.
